Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix a reciprocating movable type valve member sufficiently accurately in concentric relation to a gate to keep the same, in a valve gate type injection molding machine, by attaching a locating insert member to the front end part of a nozzle having one or more spiral blade extending inside.
CONSTITUTION: A valve member 80 pierces through the locating insert member 42 mounted on the front end part 16 of a nozzle 14. The locating insert member 42 has a pair of spiral blades extending inwardly from an outer collar. The spiral blades have curved inner edges and these inner edges surround the valve member 80 to accurately make the valve member concentric to a gate 16 when the valve member reciprocates between an open position and a closed position.
