To provide a safety injection needle processing device with higher operability and no off-flavour, an injection needle in which is automatically brought in contact with an arc discharge electrode and short-circuited and melted, then a joint part is disposed to a separate section.

An injection needle processing device 1 contains a melting room 10 in which an arc discharge electrode is formed. An injection needle 6 is in contact with the edge of a insertion port 5 and dropped on a conveyer section 20, and the injection needle 6 is conveyer through the conveyer section 20 to the melting room 10, and is in contact with the arc discharge electrode and a needle part 7 is melted. The melted object is collected by a vessel 30 under the melting room 10, and a remaining joint section 8 is collected by a vessel under the conveyer section 20. Off-flavour generated in the melting room 10 is deodorized at a deodorizing room 35 and discharged to the outside.
