To provide a DME fuel supply device of a diesel engine capable of retrieving DME fuel remaining between an injection pump element and a fuel injection nozzle after stopping an engine.
The injection pump element 2 is provided with a communication route for communicating a purge passage 242 in a delivery valve seat 24, a purge passage 252 in a plunger barrel 25, an injection pipe 3 connected to a fuel liquid outlet 212 via a purge port 253, and the inner peripheral surface of the barrel 25. In a state of no-injection, a plunger 26 rotates circumferentially, and reaches a rotation position for communicating a purge groove 265 in the outer peripheral surface of the plunger with the purge port in the inner peripheral surface of the plunger barrel 25. The purge groove communicates with an oil sump 11 via a hole 263 and a notch 262, and the pipe 3 communicates with the oil sump even when delivery valve 23 lies in a closed state in the state of no-injection.
