To provide a learning control device for pilot injection quantity capable of quantitatively grasping a variation of actual injection quantity to TQ pulse time of an injector.
Fuel injection pressure is changed to plural different fuel injection pressure levels during idle operation. Gap of actual injection quantity to injector TQ pulse time at plural different fuel injection pressure levels and injection quantity correction quantity corresponding to change of injection quantity with time are calculated for each cylinder by executing FCCB correction and ISC correction while learning control injection quantity corresponding to no load fuel consumption is evenly divided to n times and n time divided injections are executed. A value adding FCCB correction quantity (ΔQc/n) of each injection and ISC correction quantity (QISC/n) of each injection is renewed and stored as a learning value of injection quantity. The learning value is calculated as injection quantity correction quantity for each cylinder to be added to an injection quantity command value (totalQ/n) of no load fuel consumption/n of each injection.
