Title:
INJECTION QUANTITY CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0318641
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve operability and startability at the time of start-up by detecting the fuel property change successively at the stop time of an engine and setting the start-up time injection quantity on the basis of the detected result at the time of start-up.

CONSTITUTION: When the stop of an internal combustion engine is judged by an operating state detecting means P1, a stop time property detecting means P2 successively detects the change in the properties of fuel even at the stop time of the internal combustion engine. When the start-up time is judged by the operating state detecting means P1, a start-up time injection quantity setting means P3 sets the start-up time fuel injection quantity reflecting the fuel properties at the time of start-up on the basis of the stop time fuel property change detected by the stop time property change detecting means P2. The appropriate fuel control of the internal combustion engine at the time of start-up can be thus performed, and startability as well as operability can be thereby improved.
