Abstract:

To require no more conventional cam device so as to reduce a production cost by providing such constitution that an additional liquid quantity supplied to the nozzle chamber of a fuel injection nozzle can be regulated individually with high accuracy by means of a control of a solenoid valve device interposed between a fuel injection pump and a pressure generator.

The ejection port of a fuel injection pump 23 is connected to one nozzle connection part 15 of an injection nozzle 10 via uniform pressure valve 17, meanwhile a quantity regulator 25 is connected to another nozzle connection part 16 via a conduit 34 and check valve 18, and an additional liquid of a regulated quantity is supplied to a nozzle chamber 13. The quantity regulator 25 is provided with a supply pump 31 and a pressure generator 33 and allows a solenoid valve device 27 to be interposed between the fuel injection pump 23 and the pressure generator 33 so as to apply load to the pressure generator 33 by using fuel. This solenoid valve device 27 closes at the start of fuel discharge on one hand and opens at the end of fuel injection on the other hand, and control is carried out in such a way that a discharge port of the fuel injection pump 23 is connected to the pressure generator 33 of the quantity regulator 25 across a preset period of time of remaining discharge stroke.
