Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink backflow preventing composition for ballpoint pen which shows excellent ink following property also for aqueous and oily inks and is not influenced by change of temperature, whose productivity is excellent, by adding an aluminum silicate to a volatilization retardant liquid such as a dimethyl silicone oil.
SOLUTION: An aluminum silicate is added to a volatilization retardant liquid so as to prepare an ink backflow preventing composition for ballpoint pen. As a suitable example of the volatilization retardant liquid, a sole or mixed body of a dimethyl silicone oil, a methyl phenyl silicone oil, and an alkyl modified silicone oil, a sole or mixed body of an α-olefin.co-oligomer can be named. Also, as an adding quantity of the aluminum silicate, 0.1-10wt.% based on the whole composition is suitable. Further, 25-50mm (about 20°C) of one minute value by a spread meter is suitable for the ink backflow preventing composition for ballpoint pen. Also, it is suitable to add a silica to the composition.
