To provide an ink cartridge which makes an ink not leaked and be easy to recycle, and an ink cartridge recycling method which is excellent in the workability at recycling.

The ink cartridge includes a body, a lid body, and an insulating seal member, which compose the ink cartridge for an ink-jet printer. The body and lid body are mutually joined with an electro-peeling adhesive having the property which causes a joint estrangement by carrying an electricity. In the part wherein the body and lid body touch the electro-peeling adhesive, respectively, electrodes for carrying an electricity to the electro-peeling adhesive are arranged, respectively. The seal member is arranged inside the part where the body and lid body are joined and keeps the clearance between the body and the lid body in liquid-tightness.
