To provide an ink composition curable in high sensitivity on being irradiated with radiation, giving high-quality printed images, high in adhesion to printing media, excellent in storage stability, and good in jettability when applied to an inkjet printer, to provide an inkjet printing method using the ink composition, to provide printed matter obtained using the ink composition, to provide a lithographic printing plate, and to provide a method for producing the lithographic printing plate.
The ink composition comprises (A) a photodegradable salt compound composed of an anionic moiety having a polydentate structure and a basic nitrogen atom and a photodegradable cationic moiety, (B) a cationic polymerization initiator and (C) a cationically polymerizable compound. The inkjet printing method using the ink composition, the printed matter obtained using the ink composition, the lithographic printing plate, and the method for producing the lithographic printing plate are also provided, respectively.
