Abstract:
To provide an ink composition for inkjet recording, which has good reliability and print quality, a high OD value, good fixability that affords excellent smear resistance.
The ink composition for inkjet recording comprises a self-dispersing pigment and two types of resin particles having mutually different properties. The two types of resin particles are different from each other in properties such as a glass transition point, average particle size, minimum film-formation temperature and a zeta potential. A recording method, in which the ink composition is used to form an image on a recording medium, and a record, which comprises the image formed on the recording medium by using the ink composition, are provided.
