Abstract:
To provide ink for inkjet recording which prevents the occurrence of blur and offset, gives a high image density and quality, forms a recorded image excellent in water resistance and rubbing resistance and exhibits good storage stablility and jetting stability in forming a recorded image on plain paper by an inkjet recording method.
The ink composition for inkjet recording is a composition of water-based ink containing a water-dispersible self-dispersing pigment as a colorant, a polyester resin containing a sulfonate group and a water-soluble organic solvent compatible with the polyester resin and having a dynamic contact angle to plain paper smaller than that of water.
