Abstract:
To provide an ink composition hardly causing adhesion of particles on the ejecting opening holes of an inkjet head and improving storage stability when used as an ink composition for inkjet recording, and to provide a method for producing the ink composition.
The ink composition comprises a dispersant and colorant particles, wherein the colorant particles are formed by adhering second particles containing no colorant but at least a polymer on the surface of first particles containing at least a colorant and a polymer.
