Abstract:
To provide an ink composition having further improved ozone resistance and suppressed color change and provide a recording method to use the composition.
The ink composition at least contains a specific magenta dye and a water-soluble organic solvent. The ink composition and the recording method are characterized in that a compound having a thioether or a sulfoxide moiety accounts for ≥10 mass% and ≤80 mass% in the water-soluble organic solvent.
