Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which can give an image excellent in color developability and light fastness and has excellent storage stability, and an ink set using the ink composition.SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises a pigment, a polymer dispersant, water, and a water-soluble organic solvent, in which the pigment comprises pigment yellow 74. The ink composition shows a cumulative value of absorbance to light in a wavelength range from 300 to 400 nm, which is 30% or less with respect to 100% of a cumulative value to light in a wavelength range from 300 to 600 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
