To provide an ink composition, especially an ink composition for inkjet recording, which has high curing sensitivity, good storage stability, and is not discolored, when cured, to provide an inkjet recording method using the ink composition, to provide a printed product using the ink composition, to provide a lithographic printing plate which can record images having high adhesiveness to substrates to be recorded in high sensitivity, and to provide a method for making the lithographic printing plate.
This ink composition is characterized by comprising (a) a cation polymerizable compound, (b) a compound which produces an acid by the irradiation of radiations, (c) a basic nitrogen-containing compound, and (d) an acid-proliferating agent, wherein (c) the basic nitrogen-containing compound is contained in an amount of 1.1 to 10 mass% based on the total mass of the ink composition, and (d) the acid-proliferating agent is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 0.9 mass% based on the total mass of the ink composition.
