Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink discharge device having a buffer tank which can suppress air bubbles from getting mixed into ink.SOLUTION: An inkjet head and a first pump which discharge liquid droplets of ink are inserted into a circulation path for ink. Into a circulation path between the inkjet head and the first pump is inserted a first buffer tank. The first buffer tank has a first inflow port and a first outflow port. Ink flows through the first inflow port into the first buffer tank, and the ink in the buffer tank flows out through the first outflow port. A first opening/closing valve discharges air in the first buffer tank to outside from a position higher than the level of the first outflow port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
