PURPOSE: To enable an ink doner film to be easily fitted and detached, and a driving roller to be perfectly maintenance-free, by a construction wherein a driving roller for feeding an ink doner film is provided in a cassette casing.
CONSTITUTION: After fitting an ink doner film cassette, a back-up roller 5 is moved downward. A part of a lower part of a cassette casing 1 is opened, and the roller 5 is moved to a position at which it presses an ink doner film 4 against a thermal head 6. A recording paper is inserted between the ink doner film 4 and the back-up roller 5, and a driving roller driving gear 9, a payout roll driving gear 10 and a take-up roll driving gear 11 are driven, whereby the ink doner film 4 is slidden on the thermal head 6 together with the recording paper, and images are printed on the paper. By providing the driving roller 3 in the cassette casing 1, a driving roller on the side of a main body of the device is omitted, and the mechanism of a driving roller driving system can be simplified.
