Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink follower, the impact resistance of which is improved and, in which neither poor following to ink nor separation of oil develops.
SOLUTION: This ink follower for a writing utensil is to be arranged under the state being closely contact with the installing part of the writing tip of the ink barrel of the writing utensil and with the ink level of the tail part at the side opposite to the writing tip of the ink barrel. The follower is made of a swollen gel consisting of an oil absorbable resin, a polybutene as a base oil and an alkyl-modified silicone-oil compatible with the polybutene.
