Abstract:
CONSTITUTION: An ink fountain comprises a frame, a plate and an advancing-backing mechanism for advancing-backing the plate to a fountain roller. The advancing-backing mechanism comprises a pair of left-right cams having a frame side guide surface in front and a plate side guide surface in the rear and being an inclined plane of inclining at least one of the frame side guide surface and the plate side guide surface from the lateral direction, a frame side roller for supporting the frame side guide surface of the pair of left-right cams and installing a shaft in the frame, a plate side roller supported by the plate side guide surface of the pair of left-right cams and installing the shaft on the plate and at least one motor for moving the pair of left-right cams in the lateral direction.EFFECT: A clearance between a plate and a fountain roller can be precisely and compactly adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
