PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink capable of printing images good in solid filling and glossiness on a substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink containing a coloring agent, a resin particle, an organic solvent and water and having content of the organic solvent with SP value in the ink of 8.0 to 10.0 of 5 to 15 mass%, the organic solvent with SP value of 8.0 to 10.0 contains an organic solvent having SP value of 8.0 to 10.0 and the boiling point of 190°C or less and an organic solvent having SP value of 8.0 to 10.0 and the boiling point of 220°C or more and Ma/Mb of 0.8 to 1.8, where Ma (mass%) is content of the organic solvent having SP value of 8.0 to 10.0 and the boiling point of 190°C or less and Mb (mass%) is content of the organic solvent having SP value of 8.0 to 10.0 and the boiling point of 220°C or more in the ink.SELECTED DRAWING: None
