Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink having improved settleability (dispersion stability), whiteness, drying property, and scratch resistance (fixability).SOLUTION: Ink contains water, an organic solvent, colorant particles, and resin particles. The colorant particles are formed of inorganic hollow particles and a vinyl polymer. The particles formed of the inorganic hollow particles and the vinyl polymer may be in a state where the inorganic hollow particles are sealed in the vinyl polymer particles or in a state where the inorganic hollow particles are adsorbed onto the surface of the vinyl polymer particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None
