Abstract:
To provide an ink having excellent stability, achieving good color development on plain paper and high gloss on glossy paper and having excellent ejection stability from an inkjet head.
The pigment ink for inkjet recording is produced by using a pigment dispersion prepared from a pigment and a polymer having an acid number of ≥50 mgKOH/g and ≤120 mgKOH/g and a weight-average molecular weight of ≥20,000 and ≤120,000, and subjecting the components to ≥3 pass and ≤8 pass dispersion treatment with a high-pressure homogenizer under a treating pressure of ≥150 MPa.
