Abstract:
To provide inkjet recording ink having excellent storage stability and ejection stability, while achieving good color development on plain paper or glossy paper and high gloss on glossy paper and having high light resistance.
The ink contains water and a pigment dispersed therein using a polymer having an acid number of 50-120 mgKOH/g and a weight-average molecular weight of 20,000-120,000, and containing ≥50 wt.% benzyl acrylate and ≤15 wt.% (meth)acrylic acid polymerized as a constitutional component of the polymer. At least C.I. Pigment Yellow 138 is used as the pigment.
