Abstract:
To provide ink for inkjet which is excellent in preservation stability and ejection stability, and has both of a high color developing property on ordinary paper and glossy paper and high glossiness on the glossy paper.
The ink for inkjet contains water, a pigment coated with a polymer layer containing resin fine particles and a compound expressed by formula (1), wherein R is an 8-18C alkanol group; PO is a propyleneoxy group ; EO is an ethyleneoxy group; H is hydrogen; n is a number of 1-12; m is a number of 1-12; and the sequence of PO and EO is not restricted and may be random or block within the grouping symbol [ ].
