INK JET HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005153510
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent incomplete ink ejection due to stripping of a nozzle plate or corrosion of an electrode after long term use.

The ink jet head 100 comprises a channel substrate 1 where an electrode film (not shown) and a polyparaxylylene film (not shown) are deposited in an ink channel 11 becoming the channel of ink, and a nozzle plate 3 is bonded to the front end face 10 of the channel substrate 1. In the ink jet head 100, the front end face 10 of the channel substrate 1 and the nozzle plate 3 are bonded not through a polyparaxylylene film but through an epoxy based adhesive having a glass transition point of 100°C or above.
