Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ink jet print head and an ink jet printer in which a multi-nozzle head can be formed without taking a wasteful space between piezoelectric elements and pressure chambers and a driving voltage can be lowered and a head size can be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: Pressure chambers 30, 31 formed on a board 10 are formed substantially in a trapezoidal state having a small width at a nozzle forming area 24 side, and further piezoelectric elements 50, 51 disposed on a vibrating plate are also formed substantially in a trapezoidal state to match the shapes of the chambers 30, 31.
