To provide an ink-jet head which is improved in solvent resistance around a bonding portion between a piezoelectric element and an FPC.

The ink-jet head 1 is formed of: an ink-jet head manifold 2 having ink channels formed therein; the FPC 5 and the piezoelectric element 6 which are successively bonded to the outside of a vibration element portion 4a of a composite plate 4 connected to the ink-jet head manifold 2, via adhesive layers 73, 74; and a protective element portion 4b which is included in the composite plate 4, and has an edge thereof welded to the vibration element portion 4a by folding back the composite plate 4 so as to cover the adhesive layer 74 present between the piezoelectric element 6 and the FPC 5 from further outside the piezoelectric element 6.
