PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head in which durability of a protection film can be enhanced and which has long service life.SOLUTION: The ink jet head comprises: a piezoelectric member having a pair of inclined side faces; and a substrate 4 to which a rear face of the piezoelectric member is fixed. On the piezoelectric member, plural ink grooves 23 in which a conductive ink is introduced, are formed. On inside of the respective ink grooves 23, an electrode 33 is formed. The electrode 33 is formed by a photo-lithography method, and a photosensitivity positive type resist 36 remains on the electrode 33. plural wiring patterns 34 passing the side faces of the piezoelectric member from the electrode 33 and reaching to a mount surface of the substrate, is formed by the photo-lithography method with the electrode 33, and the photosensitivity positive type resist 36 remains on the wiring patterns 34. A protection film 37 is laminated on the piezoelectric member and the mount surface of the substrate 4. The protection film 37 covers the electrode 33 and the wiring pattern 34 with the photosensitivity positive type resist 36.
