PURPOSE: To improve the easy-to-assemble property of an ink-jet head by a method wherein a frame member is bonded on a insulating substrate in parallel with two or more laminate type piezoelectric elements, and a slit is provided in the frame member to form a common electrode for the piezoelectric elements.
CONSTITUTION: A frame member 5 is plate-like member made up of thermoset molding material of epoxy resin and has through-hole parts 5a and 5b corresponding to piezoelectric element rows 4 and a common electrode slit 5c between the through hole parts 5a and 5b. Fixing parts 35 and 36 are formed on one side in the direction perpendicularly intersecting the arrangement direction of driven piezoelectric elements 7, 7 for the piezoelectric element rows 4, 4 and fixing parts 37a and 37b are also formed at the middle part, that is, on the opposite side to the two piezoelectric element rows 4, 4. Bridging parts 38, 38 are provided at both ends of the fixing parts 35, 36, 37a and 37b in the arrangement direction of the driving piezoelectric elements 7, 7 for the piezoelectric element rows 4.
