Abstract:
To provide a head cartridge capable of reducing an ink jet printer in size and simplifying the structure thereof and the ink jet printer.
This ink jet printer comprises a line head 200 that has a frame 201, a guide groove 202 formed on the frame 201 and a plurality of nozzles provided on the frame to eject ink drops and performs printing by ejecting the ink drops on a target material and a head cap 210 that has a guide pin 212 to be inserted into the guide groove 202 and opens or closes a nozzle forming surface by moving along the guide groove 202.
