Abstract:
To obtain an ink jet recorder in which bubbles gathering in an ink jet recording head can be removed without wastefully consuming ink by a suction recovery and which uses a highly reliable ink jet recording head at a low running cost.
The ink jet recorder has the recording head for forming images by discharging the ink to a recording medium, an ink supply recovery means for supplying the ink to the recording head, a storage means for storing the ink, and an ink supply means for supplying the ink to the recording head from the storage means. The ink jet recorder includes a means for gathering bubbles into a common liquid chamber of the recording head after the ink is initially filled in the recording head.
