Title:
INK JET RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0358852
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve stabilization of discharge by correcting temperature gradient provided through the thermal resistance between a plurality of recording heads and by performing strict temperature control of each recording head by a method wherein the title ink jet recorder is so constructed that cooling or heating of a joint member is selectively controlled based on information of a plurality of temperature detection means which detect temperature of the joint member.

CONSTITUTION: A heating or blowing fans 6a, 6b are driven based on detected temperature of a plurality of temperature detection means 7a, 7b which detect temperature of a joint member, and a recording head is heated or cooled via the joint member. In that case, since the joint member thermally connects heat pipes 3a to 3d provided as an annex to respective recording heads, heat conduction is performed uniformly for all recording heads, and respective recording heads are heated or cooled uniformly.
