Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the unnecessary consumption of ink and to miniaturize an ink jet recording apparatus by performing the optimum emission restoring operation corresponding to the use frequency of the apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: When it is judged that the number MP of times of emission restoring operation performed in the past by the command of a user is two or more relatively many times during recording operation in a step 220, the apparatus is judged to be set under a condition requiring relative emission restoring operation and the number P of times of emission restoring operation performed in steps S221.
