Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively carry out the increase of inner pressure within ink flow passages by positively effecting the connection between an ink flow passage plate and a pressure generating substrate, and retaining positive independence of individual flow passage (prevention of crosstalk), and further increasing the rigidity (enlarging Young's modulus, and improving elasticity).
CONSTITUTION: The device includes a flow passage plate having a plurality of ink flow passage grooves 11, and a substrate 20 having pressure generating means provided in a manner corresponding to the ink flow passage grooves 11, wherein the flow passage plate 10 and substrate 20 are put together in a manner forming a plurality of ink flow passages by making the ink flow passage grooves 11 and pressure generating means 21 oppose one to another, and by driving the pressure generating means 21 and jetting ink from the ink flow passages, recording is effected. At the connected part between the flow passage plate 10 and the substrate, projections 12a extending parallel to the ink flow passages 11 are provided, and the projections 12a are brought into press contact with the substrate 20, in order to avoid the occurrence of crosstalk between the ink flow passages.
