PURPOSE: To perform recording by controlling positional deviation of a recording head in a quantity of eccentricity of a pulley.
CONSTITUTION: An image signal read in a reader part 56 is converted into a head driving pulse by a head driving pulse control part 54. Simultaneously with the above, the head driving pulse control part 54 sends pulley positional information of a printing position at present to a counter setting part 52. The counter setting part 52 reads out corrective data through a deviation corrective ROM 51 in accordance with the pulley positional information and a discharge cycle count number corresponding to the corrective data is applied to a discharge cycle counter 53. Then the discharge cycle counter 53 performs discharge cycle count of a clock signal through a clock generating part and when a discharge cycle portion is counted, the discharge cycle signal is applied to the head driving pulse control part 54. The discharge cycle signal is changed like this by corresponding to a quantity of a change in the pulley, and discharge of ink is controlled.
