PURPOSE: To prevent an end part in a recording part from being floated by elastic force of recording paper itself, by a method wherein even in the case where an amount of ink used is in large quantities, the recording paper is prevented from being projected and marginal part to be caused on the recording paper is made extraordinarily small.
CONSTITUTION: A part of recording paper 9 is allowed to suck to a holding member 31 by a suction force generating device 36, the surface of a holding member 31 facing on at least a recording head 1 is made into a planelike state, the holding member 31 and recording paper 9 are placed between a pair of rollers having a driving roller 32 abutting against a recording paper 9 side, they are moved together and sheet delivery is performed.
