PURPOSE: To prevent the stain or damage of the recording device and improve the operability thereof by impressing a frequency different from the frequency of an electric signal given to an electromechanical transducing element for an ordinary recording period in the period of positional adjustment at the initial stage of recording.
CONSTITUTION: When contact points a-c are on, the output of a wave-shaping circuit 21 is amplified as it is by an amplifier 24 and inputted in the electromechanical transducing element 18 and thereby the prescribed recording is performed for a recording period T2. On the other hand, when the contact points b-c of a selection switch 23 are on, the output of the wave-shaping circuit 21 is divided in its frequency in accordance with the prescribed frequency division ratio by a frequency-dividing circuit 22, the output of which is inputted in the amplifier 24, and a pulse of long frequency as shown in the period T1 of positional adjustment is impressed on the electromechical transducing element 18.
