Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing an ink-jet recording head which eliminates sticking of carbon to an orifice plate and which is hardly flawed with a laser beam.
CONSTITUTION: The blowing 30 and suction removal 31 of oxygen gas are performed on the same surface side of an orifice plate 11 and from both sides across a part to be irradiated by excimer laser 22; also, the inside is hollowed, and the orifice plate is put on a placing table 26 the surface of which is provided with plural air vents communicating with the hollow; and the orifice plate is fixed on the placing table by sucking the inside of the hollow.
