Title:
INK JET RECORDING HEAD AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3176272
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the contact of the electrode terminal parts of respective individual heads with a recording apparatus main body by successively laminating the individual heads each equipped with a plurality of ink jet orifices arranged in one row within the same plane so that at least one end surfaces other than surfaces having ink jet orifices formed thereto become a stepped state.
SOLUTION: Individual heads 1 equipped with a plurality of jet orifices 3a, 3b arranged in one row within the same plane are successively laminated so that at least one end surfaces other than surfaces having the ink jet orifices 3a, 3b formed thereto become a stepped state. For example, the thickness of each of the individual heads 1 is set to 400μm, the nozzle pitch P thereof is set to 980μm and the inclination thereof is set to 9.95°. Since the blank from both end ink jet orifices of each of the individual heads to both ends of the respective individual heads is set to 1mm, the width of a recording head becomes 29mm and the height H thereof becomes 4.7mm. As a result, since the common electrodes and individual electrodes provided to the individual heads are exposed to the outside of the recording head, the contact with the electrode terminals on the side of a recording apparatus main body becomes easy.
