To provide a water-based dispersed ink for ink jet recording having excellent color reproduction and light resistance and provide a method for forming an image having excellent color reproduction and light resistance.
The ink for ink jet recording contains dispersed chelate pigment. The image-forming method uses an ink containing a solid dispersion of chelate pigment.
