Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material which is best-suitably used for a glycol ink.
SOLUTION: In this ink jet recording material with an ink receiving layer, the ink receiving layer is constituted so that it contains a resin which can be swelled or dissolved in a glycol ether and/or an alkylene glycol. Preferably, a non-water-soluble (meth)acrylic ester copolymer and a non-water-soluble cellulose resin are used in the form of a mixture as the resin which can be swelled or dissolved in the glycol ester and/or the alkylene glycol.
