Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium which can meet first the wettability with ink, dyeing properties and water resistance, which is very excellent, secondly, in an image quality and the feel of gloss even when photocuring is used for forming an ink image receiving layer and which has high transparency thirdly, and a method for manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION: The ink image receiving layer is constituted mainly of an acryl copolymer containing at least two components, (a) acryloyl morpholine and (b) an acryl monomer having at least one quaternary ammonium base, as componential units, and is formed particularly out of a photocured mixture of the acryl copolymer and a multifunctional vinyl monomer.
