Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a gradationally recording method of halftone, in which troubles such as granular feeling and blurr are reduced, and a recording device, in which the method is employed, by a method wherein a calculating means for calculating the discharging data of a liquid containing a recordability improving liquid by calculating the image data of ink.
CONSTITUTION: When only an ink drop 501 simple impacts against a material to be printed, the spreading of the liquid drop on the material to be printed is small and its infiltrating depth in the material to be printed is also small. The recording ink drop, which is formed by mixing colorless ink 501 and colored ink 502 with each other on the material to be printed P, mainly spreads over the surface of the material to be printed. With the spreading, the lowering of dot density is noticed. The lowering of the density is the phenomenon developing due to the lowering of the dye density distribution per unit area in proportion to the increase of dot area. In order to reduce the granular feeling at highlight part, the lowering of the dot density is enough.
