To provide an ink jet recording method, ink set, and ink jet recording apparatus that record an image with excellent abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: According to the present disclosure, an ink jet recording method includes the steps of depositing a resin liquid onto a non-absorption or low-absorption recording media, and depositing an aqueous ink composition onto the recording medium with the resin liquid deposited thereon, by using an ink jet method, the aqueous ink composition having a total content of organic solvents of less than or equal to 12.0 mass% relative to the total mass of the aqueous ink composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
