Abstract:
To provide an ink for ink-jet recording scarcely causing bleeding of an image under high-humidity conditions and to provide a method for ink-jet recording using the ink.
The ink for ink-jet recording is characterized as follows. A compound, etc., which are a dye having a λmax of 390-470 nm in an aqueous solution and represented by A-N=N-B (wherein, A and B denote each independently a heterocyclic group which may be substituted) are dissolved and/or dispersed in an aqueous medium. At least one kind of organic solvent having ≥150°C boiling point and at least one kind of organic solvent having <150°C boiling point is further contained. The method for ink-jet recording characterized by using the ink is provided.
