Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the bleeding of a character and a picture to recording paper of pigment dispersion group ink by providing the printing surface of recording paper with a means for applying heat energy after printing.
CONSTITUTION: A platen 13 is composed of a heated roller 31 and a shaft 32 thereof, and the platen 13 is maintained under a heated state on operation. Accordingly, ink is dried at the same time as reaching to recording paper of a pigment dispersion group ink drop, and only a dispersing medium is permeated to recording paper, thus improving the quality of printing.
