In the ink jet recording sheet, on which a recorded image is formed with a liquid ink, the recording sheet includes a compound represented by general formula (1): HO-(C2H4(S)r)p-R1, at least one kind selected from compounds represented by general formula (2): R2-(S)t(CH2)q-(S)t-R3 and at least one kind selected from copolymers of diallylamine based compound represented by general formula (3) and an ethylenic unsaturated compound copolymerizable with the compound of general formula (3).
