To provide an ink jet recording sheet, which does not develop crack or the like and is excellent in various properties such as surface lustrous properties, an ink absorbency, color developing properties, a light resistance, a water resistance or the like and, at the same time, especially excellent in gas resistance (fading properties) to ozone, NOx, SOx or the like and bleeding resistance with time under high temperature and highly humid environments.
This ink jet recording sheet includes a unit represented by formula (1) and a unit represented by formula (2), in which R represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, R1 to R3 each represent an alkyl group, an aryl group and an aralkyl group, X represents a counter anion, J represents a single bond, an alkylene group, a -CO-, a -COO-, a -CONR'- (wherein R' is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like), a -OCO- and a phenylene group, W represents a single bond and a bivalent coupling group, Q represents a three or more membered nitrogenous heterocycle including N-Z (wherein Z is a group, which produces an imino group or a hydroxyl imino group through hydrolysis such as a hydrogen atom, an alkoxyl group, an aryloxy group, an oxy-radical group, a hydroxyl group or the like.
