Abstract:

To provide a decorating method, in which a material to be coated is directly decorated and roughly coated with printing characters by a personal computer controlled ink-jet type printing method to coating materials such as lacquer wares, mortuary tablets and Buddist altar articles and then gold pigment or gold leaf is adhered thereonto.

This decorating method has a printing process, in which characters and drawings laid-out in advance are directly draft-printed to a coating material with an ink-jet printer controlled by a personal computer by employing re-worked lacquer single substance, the diameter of emulsified particles of which is re-workingly processed to ≤1 μm with a kneading device, or urethane-modified worked lacquer or epoxy-modified worked lacquer, which is obtained by kneadingly processing the re-worked lacquer and an one-pack type urethane base or epoxy base coating with the kneading device and the emulsified particles of which is worked down to ≤1 μm, a drying process for standing still the material to be coated, onto which draft-printing has been executed in the printing process, in a dryer moistener having the humidity of 70%-80% RH, and a decorating process for laying down gold pigment or pasting gold leaf just before dry to touch.
