Title:
INK FOR INK JETTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3812218
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink for ink jetting that can manifest sufficient adhesion to the substrate to which the printing has been difficult because of its conventionally poor adhesion by using pigments, polyurethane resin and volatile organic solvents.
SOLUTION: The objective ink-jetting ink comprises (A) pigments, (B) a polyurethane resin derived from an alicyclic polyol [preferably a polyol of formula I or II (x, y, n, and m are each 1-10)] and a diisocyanate, and (C) a volatile organic solvent. In a preferred embodiment, an alicyclic polyol and a caprolactam polycondensate are used as a polyol in the component B and the weight-average molecular weight is preferably 35,000-55,000. In addition, this ink includes preferably vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer and a pigment dispersant, in addition. This ink manifests high adhesion to surface-treated fluorine resin film of conventionally poor adhesion to provide recorded matters having better resistance to light than dyes.
